ABSTRACT –
ADSENSE – A pay per click and pay per sponsored search site that helps your web pages to pay for their keep on your web space. Adsense is a Google owned high quality advertising links provider that pays much more than average to those who use it. If you have a lot of new visitors to your web and blog pages, you may well want to consider use of Adsense. They pay on two tiers, 1/. Visits to your pages, (usually for each 1,000 unique visitors, and also for each person who clicks on one of their links to their search facilities for other sponsored pages relating tot hose, which you have on your site. They’ll ignore multi-clicking from your own pages for obvious reasons. Each time you accredit $100, they send you a check the following month in the national currency of your choice, (though they do report your earnings to the Inland Revenue and other tax bodies). To see a typical page of Adsense ads, you could visit my own website at www.arthurchappell.clara.net/contents.htm. You will see the discreet unobtrusive little Adsense links at the top of the page. If you click through my site’s own pages, i.
e. to a poetry page or to a reviews page, you should see more links, but different ones, as Google tailor their ads to the content of the page on which the ad is featured. They generally pick them for you, though you have options to customise them too. Sign up is free, but at times frustratingly complicated. You could take a decent short cut and sign up through the referral link on the top left hand corner of my own web page www.arthurchappell.clara.net/contents.htm. If you blog a lot and have a web page or two it can’t do any harm to carry such information, which on the whole is more relevant to what you want to write about than many banner ads and links prove to be. Most writers won’t make a fortune, but you should get something for your time and trouble. Having Adsense and Shvoong, and you might just get a few cheap nights out, who knows.
