What every webmaster needs to know about submitting to Google:
1. Include a way to bypass a splash page.
2.
Find and fix all broken links.
3. Each page should have a title tag.
4. Keyword and description meta
tags are a must!
5. Fill in the Alt tags for graphics.
6. Take special care if you use frames
7. Dynamically generated pages my not be indexed but you can create static copies of them. See No. 7 under comments.
8. Update your content on a regular basis.
9. Use robots.txt if you need to restrict access to some pages.
10. Determine if you want Google to cache your pages.
