I started walking slowly with my hand in yours
I know it's right,but i'm so confused it feels wrong.
your eyes pierce through my soul
you so badly want to see me whole
but then mh heart decieves me and foolish pride takes over,
Istart walking without you,a lonely soul
i realise i'm alone, so i run
i run to my other lovers
i run to friends, i run to my so-called freedom, i runto lies, i run to writting, i run to my million-in one-masks, i run to modern technology, i run to my comfort zone, i run to worldly things, i run to lust, i run to a cold dark spot, i run to old wounds, i run to the things that hurt so much, i fun to things in which i place my trust,
irun to the broken mirror, irun to my mind, i run to my inner-self, i run to confusion,
i run to attention from all the wrong, i run to the rushing winds of the world.
i run to the things that hold me back, i run to the shadows of the sinking sand.
it's so easy to run, because i don't understand you.
i feeltrapped by all my other lovers,
like the familiarity i do decieve from running is actually lies and my
selfish attempts to try.
with everything i have in my body, i want to stop.
