www - Basics of Emails

Website Review by: Johnson Thomas

IntroductionAs the world is progressing day by day, the means of communication also are changing.
Email is one of them. All of them have their unique benefits. In email typed messages are transmitted between computers. The secret to learn
It is very simple. You just have to find the text on screen which is related to what you want to find and click there. Something will be opened by itself. The benefits
One can send and receive messages and documents. Email is an electronic transfer of messages you have typed. You can type anything you want and the receiver can read our messages. You can also send documents, images, sound files etc. Similarly you can also be on the receiving side.To get started
One needs to have an email account at a site like www.yahoo.com, www.hotmail.com, www.indiatimes.com, www.rediffmail.com etc. Open the site in a program like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Netscape or other similar one and look for a text ‘Sign Up’ or ‘Register’ or ‘new user’ somewhere on the web page. Click on that and it will ask you to fill a form. It will definitely have fields like user name and password. These two fields are required to access your personal account on that particular site. How to write (send) and read e-mails
Once you have got your user name and password you can access your personal emails. You can enter the username and password in the boxes provided which will be somewhere in the home page and then click on something like ‘Sign In’ or ‘Login’. You should see your personal page. Somewhere in the menu you will find Inbox. Click on that and you will be able to see all the emails which somebody else has sent you. Find text ‘Write email’ or ‘Compose’ somewhere on the screen. On clicking here a page will be opened b which you can send messages or documents (attachment).
