higher education in various fields. Millions of students over the world dream of higher education and revering degrees. Not that they are intellectually incapable to pursue their dreams, but we unfortunately see them financially handicapped. At the same time we witness these numerous foundations and organizations that stretch out a hand to brighten our future generation with intellectual minds. They provide scholarships, loans etc on various basis like merit, necessity, sex, cast, field of study, level of study etc. Internet the master solution to all queries is critical in the way you approach. A vigorous but thoughtful search of the net provided me with these many number of web-links of educational foundations, scholarship trusts etc. These websites are simple homes for various number of funding foundations. A proper surfing through the site enables the user to know the basic rules, requirements and conditions of the foundation. Few steps to be followed in surfing on these sites to know if it is useful to one – Watch out for the eligibility criteria of that scholarship foundation Only if u fit into the eligibility, check the deadlines of the application forms If you are in position to meet the deadline, check it’s application procedure Search for the application form downloading, or online link to fill forms Check the requirements of the submission along with the form; e.g.: Resume, Recommendation letter etc. Once all confirmed and set. Start with your application Note: it is most vital to follow up once you have submitted your application; hence you need to find out your follow up path, which once again varies on every site. Just to explain with an example, The Fulbright Institution of International Education is one of the topmost, having its branches in over 140 countries. It is an effective and prestigious form of public international relations. The Program here has developed over 225,000 young minds. It is a foundation that not only provides students with scholarship but assists them in acquiring admission in their chosen university. The foundation has no deadlines as such, they start functioning a year in advance for the coming year, for e.g. application forms for 2009 are already uploaded. Its user friendly website facilitates students to make optimum use of it in minimum time.
