Cairo Egypt- the Egyptian parliament on Monday has approved a set of new amendments to the
constitution, and the good news
the democratically elected president Hosni Mubarak has billed the changes as increasing
democracy in the country what kind of bull shit is this I have never known a democracy where your rule till some one ousts you or hangs you. .
One of the amendments is aimed at preserving the 78 year old Mubarak’s control and smoothing the way for his son Jamal to succeed him in a future election, know my friend that is real democracy, true democracy. Yea right we are that stupid
I wish Arab leaders would have enough guts to come out and say we are dictators and that’s how it is what kind of democracy where you rule and never step down till your are ousted or killed.
I would love to see a
constitution in one just one Arab country where a dictator cant rule more that 2 terms of 4 or 5 years giving some one else a chance maybe just maybe they will work for the good of the country for a change, the funny thing some of the Arab dictators clam that the people rule I would like to see me go out and curtsies an Arab leader and found breathing the next day, yet it’s a democracy.
It would be okay if they shared the wealth with the poor starving people no they are so greedy they want it all for them and their families
I sincerely hope in my kid’s life time, for them to experience what true democracy is all about not the one in the Arab world.
