Nebraska's Husker Website
This website is awesome! Of course, that is only if you are a fan of the big red. If you are one of the thousands of HUSKER fans out there who live and breath Nebraska sports, especially football, then this site is going to make you hot!
This site is one of the most visually exciting sites I've ever visited. Cluttered with
red and white, photos, icons, and digital streeming video of
sports action seem to be exploding from every column of the site. It screams Nebraska sports pride and excitement. The site has so many options that if it has a draw back it would be that it is too extensive. Every sport can be researched from softball, basketball, gymnastics, to of course the beloved
football program. Both the mens' and womens' programs are covered.
Details are easily found through a point and click method which flows obviously down the left side of the site. This is a site that is so packed with details that during the
construction of a part of the football stadium, they actually put on web cameras so that TRUE fans could watch the construction work in a live feed. FANATIC, doesn't even come close to explaining this site!
One of the best features of the site is its connections. During sporting events, nearly every one of them, you can access free
radio sites that will give you a radio broadcast of the event. As I live in Thailand this is the only way that I can enjoy a game from back home. It is wonderful to hear the
play by play and to think it is as easy as point and click with a nice quick server.
