impeached/ in no small measure this is a
bit of a turn around ... I
supposehere there is the notion of "what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the other
goose" ....
Since I suppose President Bill Clinton made history and I believe, was
the first American President to be "
impeached" ... impeached means to be
taken through the Criminal Courts, convicted on "treason" ... though mind
you I rather lost interest in the whole linguistic game since President
Clinton with Hillary in tow appeared in Belfast Northern Ireland for his
Book Signing ... he looked the picture of health ... there was nothing
"criminal" in his demeanour or that of his wife/Hillary.
Still Jane Fonda and others including Sean Penn want Bush and
Cheney convicted on the charge of "War Crimes" because of Bush
and the War in Iraq. Jane Fonda is an American actress a ...
sixties something and has many films to her credit ... however
she became so I read, a political activist and one of her
husbands - as I believe she has been married more than once -
was a High Ranking Politician ... but his secret lies with him
because I do not really delve into the married and unmarried
lives of famous actresses or celebrities in America.
I suppose I am drawn to this blog because of the obvious
disapproval and world horror at the War in Iraq but feelings
rise high and personally much as I see Jane Fonda as
a leading light in this connection I dont see how she
will influence public opinion in her favour ...
I read a long time ago that during the Vietnam War and
its aftermath somebody or other referred to Fonda as
"Hanoi Jane" ... in other words she was seen
as anti patriotic ...
Ah! the Patriot Game and more besides involves all of
us in its incantations, writings, scribblings, film making
and poetic utterances ...
