In relation to this morning I received a blog from Bill Clinton
about his work in Africa ... Mr. Clinton has been on a
14 hour flight across the world and there are many
facets of his work that are appealing.
Bill Clinton refers to us joining Clinton on his journey.
This is a good way to understand the nature of
charity work and to take the word so to speak of
God out to Africa is indeed a great privelege:
The disease and trouble in Africa lead to this
continent being the poorest in the world and to
creating the poorest people in the world.
Disease is desperate: food in this troubled area
of the world is necessary and medicine - and
Johannesburg is one of Bill Clinton''s stopover
points. Some years ago Clinton met Nelson
Mandela and the press made much of this
meeting and so did Bill Clinton.
It is truly wonderfuly when a high profile person
of Bill Clinton''s stature takes a interest in what
we are doing here in England in our small way
to alleviate suffering and poverty in the world.
It would be marvellous to be given the opportunity
to join Clinton in his "Journey" and take the message
and aid to the places that directly need it.
In fact if we could be pro active in writing it would
solve a lot of problems as we could once again
entertain the notion of earning salary. But all this
is low key in comparison to the great work
Bill Clinton has embarked upon specifically
Well done Bill Clinton and many thanks for taking
the time to tell me privately all about the facts
and figures of this Charity work ... I will do all
I can to speed you on your way and pray for your
endeavours and the success of your charities at
