Socialists : look out ... the Protestant work ethic has taken over ... the Scandinavian
countries are historically Protestant and have a rate of high employment.
Approach to work ... religious background of our ancestors ... set for puritanism stalks through out life like a ghost ... we work hard without really thinking why we do it ...
Puritanism is the secret ... work ethic is taught to young people starting with their
parents ... shapes attitudes and life styles ..does it ... I have taught full time in teaching and I am finding it hard to convince the Teachers ...plus I worked full time from the age of 17 ... then I reside in a Protestant country as a Catholic .... strange days ..Pam Ayres isa Spy but nobody believes her ... as she claims to be a best selling poet ... crazy days ..
Previously it made a big difference if you were a Protestant or a Catholic .. high employment rate ... let all the Protestants and the Catholics work .... a very intering orientation a twist ...
But the Catholic then writes successfully. America has many Catholics and Protestants and has a great history of full employment .. ah! me! I worked full time for an American Company in a Protestant country. Never let me forget it ..
Keep on working and starting time is 6 am to 6 pm with a tea break and then back to your work ...
