National
Theatre days ... well its always is good to remember those days
studying at the National Theatre under the great direction of Sir Peter Hall, and
his merry
bank of Theatre Directors ... this trip to the National Theatre''s
Theatres .. in The South Bank in London was a weekly event and I got my
packed lunch and my big overcoat and a few pounds in my pocket with
babysitters installed at home with hubby and family and off I went to
London''s Famous National Theatre to listen to the great men of the
theatre instruct us all in writing acting directing and performing .. the
golden days of the National Theatre was how it was viewed from a perspective of 1981 and a degree in the subject of Drama and English was the results I achieved.
But I am reminded
night and day about the Class War that was part of my
educational background ... then ... now .. and perhaps in the future... there is
no
solution like a good solution. So my personal best was last night when
I got my first time Congratulations! for my writing ... the NT Classes finally
worked like a charm ... and I was pleased to hear on the Radio/BBC that
the National Theatre itself had scored a FIRST in
profits and had made
a clear profit of one million pounds! Great
stuff at last! Its nice when
the Complaints Team can go on holiday, take a rest, or retire ... and we can
all receive our much earned "Congratulations" and Letter from The Queen in relation to all the hard work in theatre as well as poetry in London recently.
Great stuff .. keep on reading the blogs ...
