Received today the Turkish blog and my attention was drawn immediately to the line that the Czech Republic has offered to
support Turkey's E.U. bid! The heads of state from both
Czech Republic and Turkey are discussing this imporant issue.
I know from having lived and worked in both great countries that its good news that they are getting on at last .. . as Czech Republic is a relatively new member of the E.U. And
Turkey has been polishing up its Act for sometime to engage with full
membership of the E.U.
The fabled E.U. is part of our modern pyschology and I guess membership of the UK and Ireland has been a stablising force for sometime ... its similar to being a member forever.
I upgraded my own membership of the Poetry Society in London since locating to the UK Mainland and I have had a lot of success in this respect especially my own first time ever

My book signing was a great success and was well attended ... and of course I received a wonderful letter from The Queen at Balmoral and Her Majesty was glad I "enjoyed" my book signing in London ... WOW!
So I can see why Turkey's bid is for full membership of the EU and not just part time membership ... its important .. so its "Thanks" to Czech Republic for its support for Turkey's big to join the E.U. with full membership without too much delay!
