What the Government is doing ... its up to the Police ... stronger policing .. the police are in the wrong .. a corrupt society ... where will it all end.
All these statements, questions and comments are hurled at one through the letter box via the media or across the street as if one was Head of the Police Force in this country.
As a teacher for many years I rely on the Police and the need to support the
structures of democracy but pressurized as we in the UK are we - wait for the Police to
stand up and be counted, take a positive lead in local policing, deal with the fashion of the day which is more policing rather than less policing - keep a high profile around sensitive centres such as schools - keep a low profile around low key areas of ill repute and above all stop crime in its entirety. A tall order I assure you and my view is no less important in the instance of minor crime and its prevention ... dont tell anybody anything ... dont give out your private details to any Tom Dick or Harry and at all times we must be seen to be on the side of the Police .... the law. In fact my new suit which is for ladies looks a lot like my all time
favourite Police Force .... the Prague Police ... though I dont wear it that way .. I tend to wear a blue scarf in the quintessentially poetic way ..... interesting stuff via the Police ... whose squad car was parked outside in the street - in a high profile sensitive area .. of high policing yesterday!
