Friends, we have a DAY, 'every other day' like MOTHER'S DAY, FATHER'S DAY, WOMEN'S DAY, FRIEND'S DAY; I am not sure, if MEN'S
DAY is yet there. This DAYS trend has been strategically created by one of the Greeting cards making company(This was once told by thier Marketing manager in an interview). They started minting money creating cards by reserving a day for all important relationships in one's life. A Father or Mother is not someone who can be forgotten on all other days in an year, and
remembered only on a particular day, for they are the ones who gave us life. That may be the culture of some Western countries where people seldom find time for their elders and keep them in oldage homes and these DAYS are for them...... Likewise every other
relationship whether with a man or a woman has it's own importance in each of our lives, and we Indians always give due respect to that relationship. No gender or relationship can only be remembered only on a particular day of an year, instead should always be remembered for all the good things they have done to us. That is what Our Culture is and that is what we are supposed to do. Let us all join the chain of TRUE INDIANS by celebrating everyday at heart, as a day of Thanksgiving & gratitude for everyone who influenced our lives in a good way for a good reason. Be a TRUE INDIAN.
with this I donot mean to say to disrespect other cultures or ways of life. We Indians, have our own way of living and celebrating. Let us not forget these getting carried away by other cultures. Also, please do respect and learn your mother tongue, whatever it is, before you learn any other language, whether international or national. Each and every language in India has its own history and greatness, which has been passed through generations. The grandeur of these great languages should not be lost with time but should be proudly passed to your progeny.....
