party night in graveyard light
Imagine partying in graveyard with friends, no its not a talk about Halloween but an
restaurant setting in ahmadabad, in western India. People have unusual tastes and likings and there is no dearth of imagination. Kriahan Kutti Nair, the owner of the New Lucky Restaurant has his own USP, he runs the restaurant built over a centuries-old Muslim cemetery. The
graves are scattered randomly across the restaurant. They are painted green and stand about shin high, every day the manager decorates each of them with a single dried flower. As per the Hindu notion death is a symbol of rebirth so there nothing to be scared of. People enjoy sitting here for a tea and snacks and in evenings romantic couples could also be seem enjoying candle light dinner. The candles atop the graves create a perfect ambiance and invigorate the atmosphere. The graves probably belong to the family or associates of a 16th-century Sufi saint.
