Dancing and Turkey ... most people become fans of Turkish Dancing whether one concentrates on just the popular dance form
or Turkish Belly dancing but as an expert of the art of dancing I am reminded that I have participated in this
activity even in Turkey . .. my friend the Turk ... a business man of note .. Charlie and I took to the floor and swirled about a bit.
In fact in Morocco in 1992 I was so drum beaten into the circle of performance that I donned my straw hat and joined in with the Arabic dancer similar to that seen on the internet with Turkish Belly dancing ........ it was a wonderful occasion and the following day I was sitting in the cafe of this Arabic Hotel and who should I see for the lady dancer out of her costume and strolling past me ......... we said "Hi" and had a good laugh about our activities on the Floor - great experience as the floor show the night before ..
My friend and I were keen on doing a little practice in
Classical Ballet so we attended Ballet Class .... even to this day it has stood us in good stead as we are in excellent shape as a result of all the classical ballet practice!
Keep on dancing ......... a great activity ..
