Website Review by: SM THOMPSON

Its great to enjoy our Bank Holidays and we all look forward to putting up our feet, relaxing with friends and family or
going to a football game if you are inclined to be a football supporter.  But its annoying when the situation double crosses each and everyone of us willy nilly.  For example, its the New Year and lets do something that has been lying about the place for months ......... but it involves, say, The Post Office .. and then again one cannot complete it .. i.e. send one''s poems to one''s publishers, because the Post Office has closed early for the Bank Holidays. ... until later.
Or why not catch a bus into town and take a walk in the park and have a hamburger and coffee and then catch the bus back ... again a good idea, but there are no buses back, its the bank holiday and its also New Year''s Day, so its back to taxi-ing about the City.  Relieved to find oneself ... at last.... after waving one''s arms about for at least a half an hour ...with a taxi ... and then, shock horror, the driver is on double time and double pay.  You are running out of answers for this crisis situation so the answer there is "YES" alright, I will have to pay up yet again.  Imagine the relief when its not as expensive as at first
considered but only because one must walk about 1 hour to keep the price of the taxi low from the point of view of the passenger ... i.e. ME ......... Hey Man!  Rock Me all night long, and keep on rocking ............ I thought I saw a Rock Star at the local bar, but then again no, there was a double of Roger McGough the famous best selling international poet from Liverpool, but it was only people who look like these celebs ... whom I fondly refer to as "look alikes".  Someone was asked me "Excuse me, are you the BBC Broadcaster, Kate Aidie" "No" : I replied, and "I dont look like it either!""   Happy New Year''s Day ... keep on blogging.
