Drama class ... well its begin at the beginning. First find your own spot and take a moment or two to do warm up exercises
which will consist of bending and stretching and feeling the space between you and other members of your class group ensemble theatre grouping or team assembled for the collective condition of doing drama.
Then I will give you a word such as Tarkan and sing it out or spell out the letters to every one in the group; when that has finished I suggest you take a letter at a time and hum a merry tune ... tra la la la la la la ... it wont take long the job is done .. tra la la la la la ..
The reason for reiteration of the suggested guidelines in University Theatre Workshops is to allow the students the freedom to express their own views but in the event of the Board or examiner having specific objectives or indeed even the local church then come prepared with notes in hand - such as those I mention herein. And if that doesnt get them started nothing will other than a circle of hand holding .. and then its over to the Play the Casting and the doing of it all ... enjoy drama class ... at your local theatre .. great stuff ..
