British Council is petitioned a lot by everyone involved in artistic endeavours and I heard yesterday that David Hockney
British Artist has been
petitioning the British Council but nobody said what the result was.
I too have been petitioning the British Council and gained permission from
Doris Zimmerman of British Council Vienna Austria to teach part time for salary
and read my poems for remuneration at 62 onwards.
The British Council preserves the Culture and is a big contributor in terms of
the English Language. I had worked for them sometime ago and it was in
connection with examination of spoken/oral English ...so its a meeting up
again that is called for soon .... see you in Vienna ... at the British
Council ...great stuff!
