Twelve years ago I was invited to do Charity Work in Ireland by a well known magazine called "Image" .. and it was successful
in as much as I was prevented from /giving up/on
fashion and looking good at 40 something. I had little inkling of how and what to do but the Image magazine filled my head with great ideas some of which I still use all these years later.
I had . before leaving the UK .. gotten involved in
Charity Work in England and had modelled a beautiful wedding dress with a train that
stretched from one side of our street to the other and since I wasnt actually getting married again, I called it /Charity work/the reason for all this was that because I had a Society Wedding not a big splashy event and certainly nothing approching a /royal wedding/I had to experience the feeling of wearing this dress and its contraptions that stretched from one side of the garden to the other .... I finished off the wedding dress with a straw hat as at that point in time I was very keen on film and saw
a movie with Dirk Bogarde wearing a straw hat .. I bought 10 painted gold dry flowers from John Lewis Store and carried those in a manner befitting Charity Work ......... and the photographer he snapped me .. with my beautiful bonnet shining in the morning sun .. all for a good cause .. Charity Work .. I was pleased when my Muslim friends in Turkey decided to get involved with African Charity work .. and they and I at the weekend .. were at it again ... Charity work .. all for a good cause this time as well .. alleviation of poverty and suffering and disease! Good Health and great charity work results in a lot of dollars and Euros! Wow!
