Today is International Womans Day and I received a beautiful present from Turkey .. Thank You Turkey.
I also received a
blog from the Turkish blog USA and the
young women in Istanbul are talking out their views on gender and sex/sexuality. Should the guy in their lives fail to come up to expectations then they are in the position of sorting it out. Statistically girls and boys/can
marry from 17 onwards so there are many marrraiges which are young. The
Child in the
Woman Notion is that in Istanbul the woman remains a child until she gets married and becomes an adult female.
Statistically most marriages occur in Istanbul therefore between 17 and 60 .. and falls in line with a worldview on the policies legal and otherwise surrounding couples, marriage and courtship. One girl said she was raped by her man ... the husband .. tough luck. I have met such young women too ... its a hard world to suffer I suppose for sex. But then I am virtually celibate and I am so protected as a single woman since divorce that I feel I have joined the Army at 62 ....
