Basra and the British
troops pulled out in December of last year ... and Jon Snow the Senior Broadcaster with Channel 4 is in conversation with the Iraqi Foreign Minister who believes that they should reengage once more ......... I suppose its hard news that the military are pushed up front when all the people I spoke with at the weekend on my way to London believe that we should be opening hotels in these war torn areas in peaceful reflection of times to come ... that its not out of the question to invest or buy a villa and set up a big business in a personal sense. Sounds like a lot of nonsense but then one of our passengers did get off the National Express Coach at Londons Heathrow Airport to go to Afghanistan .. family visiit and my
driver is from Afganistan .. and he was right about the
time of the buses at Victoria Coach Station ..... I got there on time and arrived South early .... there was a pile up the driver said on the M3 ... Motorway and the traffic had stopped flowing .. Thanks Jon Snow for the CNN blog on the movement of the British Troops in Basra .. keep on blogging.
