Father PJ was in fine form and flowing on was the
sermon on The
Stranger on this the third Sunday after Easter. The
theme of "Stranger" caught Father PJs imagination and he met with it straight up and didnt run
away with the notion that he could flee the country should the stranger whom he encountered on the public transport system engage with him in dialogue.
He urged the congregation to love The Stranger as Christ encourages in the Gospels and that the Stranger one encounters might be a hidden away celeb or a famous poet or whatever and dont
treat them like dirt and always look on the bright side of
life ......... treat The Stranger in your life as a friend .. be prepared to take that risk in life and it could pay dividends.
