I read in the newsletter that Turkey has a 5 star luxury resthome facility for the elderly and those people who are on a
"collective" where they have all the facilities of a big 5 star hotel such as the Conrad Hilton in Dublin Ireland where albeit long ago I used to dine with frequency on my way to the National Concert Hall in Dublin as I am a great Opera Lover and a classical music lover ........ in fact it has been a lifetime's devotion to music.
But the news is interesting in that the age view is now spreading to Turkey as we have had it in this country for
years ....... its years ago but we buried our ancient friend at 91 in Ireland of dymentia and that was that .. its hard to say .. that the strength of the teacher is needed in these tricky and trying circumstances. I read that in Amsterdam sometimes is possible to end life as /mercy killing/ theres no point in mentioning that here in the UK as we dont
believe in death ..... afterall we have been running the John Lennon DVD now since 1980 and
Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed go on and on .... so some people keep them alive .. and we have no acknowledgement that they are dead! Funny beliefs we all cling to at times of National tragedy.
I wonder if Pamuk is considering moving into a 5 star rest hotel in Istanbul and what are Mr Pamuks future plans ... after all he is about the same age as me .. but nobody knows what Pamuk is planning ..... I dont believe in Old Age for myself .. I do believe in Old Age for others .. I think its a curse on Mankind ... Life for the living .. great blogs .
