Istanbul Conference - Women Raise Voice for Equal Division of Labor!

Article Abstract by: SM THOMPSON

Original Author: Turkish digest
Equal division of labour and a Conference  in Istanbul - has a focus on equal rights in the work place where women work as
well as the men.  Recently it has been noted that in Turkey more women spend more time looking after the home . .. doing the housework ... staying out of the workplace and its assumed that at some point the woman will work in the workplace outside of her home in Turkey.
The Women at this Istanbul Conference titled: "Women raise voice for equal division of labor" are from countries such as Spain, Netherlands and Sweden and I assume Turkey.
In a personal sense I was confined to the home and was a founder member of Women's Housewives Register which meant that all my female friends were making the home good for living in and having dinner ready at 8 pm and of course we gave talks on our favourite topics, such as "Jazz Music", "Theatre", and "History" - "Archaelogy" and they were wonderfully received!  So the time spent at home doing the housework and looking after the home and bringing up our children was well spent!  Nice work and keep on writing as that was my pivotal role at that stage in Housewives Register and I continue ... to write to work even today ... great stuff!
