Shvoong Earning Secret Discovered As i went through the forums at Shvoong i realized that hundreds of us are waiting to discover the answer of one single million $ question, and i.e. How much can one possibly earn at shvoong? Thus i tried to find out the answer for all of my friends at Shvoong and here is my discovery. It may not be 100% true, but will for sure serve as the best estimates you have found thus far.
My research started from noting down some facts i.e. asking a selected sample of authors at shvoong and the number of their summaries, reviews and translations and their monthly income.
I gathered results from some 20 authors to base my conclusion on, and here are the results:
On an average, Shvoong pays its authors 1 cent ($0.01) per 50 visits of a summary, translation or review. For example, if you have just one submission in your name and that gets 50 visits in a given month then your total earning for the month will be around $0.01.
Now lets extend this formula to see how can the effect be magnified. Suppose you have 100 submissions in your name and eash of your submission attracts 1000 visits a month. Then the monthly visits would accumulate to 100,000. Since Shvoong pays a cent every 50 visits, your monthly income becomes 100,000/50 i.e. 2,000 cents or $20. Obviously earnings can vary if some of your articles attracts less interest from readers, but if good articles make up for the loss, you can still earn the same.
Just to create a one glance show, i have created a table that might help you have an idea of your monthly incomes.
| S.no | No of submissions at month end | Total visits on all submissions | Estimated Earnings |
| 1 | 100 | 100000 | $20 |
| 2 | 500 | 500000 | $100 |
| 3 | 1000 | 1000000 | $200 |
| 4 | 2000 | 2000000 | $400 |
Keep one thing in mind. The above figures may look attractive, however, these are based only and solely on the number of visits you get. If your articles are not good enough to produce a 1000 visits a month, you would never get these desired returns. So your articles should be well written on topics that catch attraction.
