Mobile processors from Intel Atom family enjoys great popularity among manufacturers of netbooks, tablets and other mobile devices. It offers decent performance and is particularly low power consumption, which in this category plays prim latest addition to the name Atom N570 is equipped with two cores at a frequency of 1.66 GHz (N550 runs at 1.5 GHz) and manages to handle four threads. Inside the chip can be found 1MB L2 cache, support for DDR3-667 memory and the TDP does a mere 8.5 W.
N570 is on display at CeBIT in establishments of firms Asus, Samsung, and Lenovo (pictured IdeaPad S100), which means that sales of systems with this processor will see soon. Some of them reach the market later this month.
