About Useless-Knowledge.com

Website Review   by:JudyRamsook

My debut into the wide and wonderful world of being part of something as gigantic as the internet all started with this one site at www.Useless-Knowledge.com. From the moment I received that invitational email from the editor of the site requesting me to submit articles for the joy of writing, up until now, a little over a year, it has been an eye opening experience. Easy to navigate, all a new visitor to the site has to do is type in the website address in the search/address bar and he is there. If that visitor wants to see a list of columnists who write for the site, he can scroll to the top of the site's homepage and click on the 'Columnists List' link which will take the visitor to the current list of contributors, some of whom have written more than four hundred or three hundred or so articles on subject matters that range from anything of a current event nature, bit of newsworthy information, personal opinion pieces about a certain subject matter and there are some columnists who have submitted pieces about bits everyday slices of life, making that columnist's work, as a fellow columnist put it, 'the most useless knowledgiest' pieces. But the useless-knowledge site does more than just generate a ton of feedback from its millions of readers worldwide, for its columnists, if a contributor has publishd a book, be it fiction or non fiction, the contributor or columnist gives the editor of the site his book's ISBN which he will use to locate it from amazon.com. In addition, once the editor of the usless-knowledge site has found the book from amazon, he will advertise it on the useless-knowledge site for free. An ad of the book will appear at the bottom of each columnist's article.
