Over the years our youth have been fascinated by different and newer versions of communication. From the last 1940/50’s were the kids were learning that having two tin cans connected together by string meant they could talk to each other to modern-day technologies such as text messages on a mobile phone. Hotmail is a free version of this! And all you need is an internet connection, then all you have to do is create a hotmail e-mail address that can literally be used as this, an example is 123@hotmail.com. However, as well as an e-mail address you can use this for your instant messaging.
Once you have this address all you need to do is download the msn software. Once you have this you are automatically allocated an online passport, this is used without the user’s knowledge to keep your information private. After having this downloaded, all you need to do is find other people, friends and family, and add there addresses as a “contact” once this is done all you need to do is sign in, simply by clicking the sign in button, and wait for someone else to do the same, no matter were they are you can still talk instantly! And hotmail’s biggest thing, ITS FREE!!! If you are happy to have small adverts at the bottom of the screen when running the hotmail then you don’t have to pay anything for a service that will keep you in contact with all you friends.
This service can provide you with a free e-mail address, free instant messaging and a free system to communicate with all you friends and family.
And then we get to the extras, once you are talking to someone by typing, you can then do so much more. You have the opportunity of the traditional similes, these are small faces showing different emotions, these help in showing what you are feeling whilst typing. Then, if you own a web cam (an internet camera) you can see each other, and then if you have a microphone, can have a totally free conversation!
