Work from home / work through the internet / quick money. You
must have seen this kind of posts in different forums: "Easy money -
work from home!", "send an SMS, and receive money for it!!", " work
from home - do something in your life!" and such. These offers
always promise a quick and easy way to become rich. The ones offering
those suggestions always look for "persuasive" people, and marketing
abilities. But what is really standing behind all those offers?
First, I must say that MLM marketing - web marketing ,is not
inappropriate to use, and it is used by many companies in a suitable
way, and it is a valid method. But, "Pyramid people" of all
sorts, crooks and such, have adopted the system, therfore the equation
that describes most of these plans goes like this: register, pay,
enlist other people. Have you noticed whats missing? After all, we are
talking about salesmanship here, about marketing... where is the
product?!? The product is the least important thing in these scams.
True, sometimes its about a quality/selling product, but the purpose
and the money doesn't come from selling the product, it comes from
enlisting others. These posts always look too good to be true, and by
being such posts, the attract many curious people. Some succeed in
the area, but they will also be the ones to testify that there are two
causes that will determine whether this "work from home" will pay or
not: a) If you joined in an early stage of the plan, you will be able to enlist a considerable amount of people.b)
If you intend to take this job most seriously, like a regular full time
job. True, its a little disappointing hearing my opinion, but my
opinion was built on experiance. I'm one of those people, that as long
as you don't charge them any money, will try anything. So I joined some
of these plans and spoke with a bunch of people from the area - the
ones that want to sell, and the ones that admit they have entered a
hole they can't crawl out of. Those crooked plans and systems are
varied and colorful, I suggest checking a few things before you enter
this gray area: a) Is there a specific product and is it possible to sell it. b) Is the purpose of the plan is enlistment of other new people or selling of the product. c) Will you be required at any stage to take money out of your pocket. d) Is there a way to supervise your progress in the plan online. e)
Request to talk with a couple of people participating in the plan, and
ask them whether they are satisfied of it (and dont forget that they
aren't credible either).
