The seats in colleges and universities are limited. Soeverybody cannot get admission. So whoever can afford goes abroad forfurther studies.When someone goes abroad, all the courses are in English. So it isnecessary for him to learn English before going abroad. Although Englishis learnt not only for going to abroad but it must be kept in mind thatEnglish should be studied in such a way that it will become beneficialto understanding the course and related terminologies. We can say thatEnglish has become the basic need of today. While studying, it isnoticed that all the books are in English. Teachers give lectures IEnglish. In professional colleges the technical terms are in English.These terms, if they are not in English, one cannot compete with theoutside world.These days, computer is becoming very popular. By using computer, peoplecan do research for any topic to take help in their studies on internet.But again on internet as it is used for the benefit of the whole world,the language used, must be understood by all. So the internationallanguage which is spoken & understood in almost in the whole world i.e.English is used.So in the end we come to the conclusion that English is the medium whichmust be adopted by all. It is the need of our everyday life.
