When joining an affiliate program, any affiliate program, one of the
first things you receive is email with the name of your sponsor.
is a Sponsor? From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: A sponsor is the
individual or group that provides the support, similar to a benefactor...
In the internet marketing world, a sponsor is the person how referred
you to the program and the one you joined the program under, now he is your
upline and his "job" is to sponsor you, help you with the big
procedure of becoming one of the most successful affiliates in this business,
and he gets paid in return, this the commission he gets, from your sails.
In order to get his commission higher he wants you to get better in what
you do and to help you generate more sales and earn more and more commissions.
This is the duplication system you always hear about, one affiliate teaches
another affiliate and he teaches his affiliates, etc.
But how you do that? How do you become the best sponsor? Not everyone
gets a good sponsor, and that is too bad and there are ways to get pass that,
but you don''t want to leave your affiliate hanging there…
1. Send your affiliate a welcome letter, most affiliate programs have a
welcome letter composed for you, use it, or write your own letter, it doesn''t
matter, just write it, let them know how you are, and how they can contact you
2. Offer you affiliate help, let them know in advance on the news, send
them links to the program''s guide and help section. Most affiliate programs
have a training section to help all new affiliate to learn about the program
and then help the new members train.
3. Don''t let them fall behind, send motivating emails, but don''t spam,
see what actions your programs required to step up the ladder and check if your
affiliate is doing what it takes, but don''t push to hard or you''ll scare your
affiliate a way and they will quit the program, and you don''t want that.
4. Offer your affiliate some
goodies, free e-books, free software, if you can offer them coupons, and even help
with upgrading, only if your budget allows you to.
5. Let them know about new programs you found and tested and allow them
to subscribe to your newsletter and your blog to get more information, they
will appreciate the valuable information and the motivation, and it will build
there confidence in you and it will help them to be better in what they are
6. Always be there for your affiliates, offering help is not enough,
they also need to have your contact details, allow them to contact you with
questions and their troubles, and answer them back, do everything you can to
help them and ask your upline and support for help if you are in trouble.
The bottom line is, your affiliates is seeking success just like you do
and their success is your success. With the right training you and your team
will climb to the top, don''t forget your affiliates, don''t leave them behind,
but let them work in their own pace. If your affiliate is happy you will be
very happy and you will become the best sponsor you wanted to be.
