According to the latest news from foreign media, the U.S. mobile advertising company AdMob released the latest data show that Apple iPhone is still leading than in the number of Android platform cell phone. In May this year, the report shows that the number ratio between the Android platform phones and Apple iPhone cell phones in the global market is 1:2, and the global volume ratio is 1:3.5, there is not much change compared with April. Through Android platform and Apple iPhone (quotations parameter evaluation Gallery proofs) the number of mobile access to AdMob network was 12.7 million and 29.3 million, in April this year was 11.6 million and 27.4 million, the new volume reached to 1.1 million and 1.9 million respectively.
AdMob said, AdMob network flow rate worldwide received very fast growth, also quick growth in smart cell phones. The data in May 2008 shows that smart cell phone advertising accounts for 22% of the total AdMob network advertising volume and grows to 46% in 2010. Now the Android platform cell phones and Apple iPhone (net purchase lowest price 5399 Yuan) accounts 42%of the whole world’ total volume.
From the growth number of the Android phone, there is a relatively large increase compared to the growth of last year. The 14 best-selling models of this year's Android mobile platform accounted for 92% of all Android phones flow rates. The latest news shows that Android cell phone sales reached a staggering 160,000 a day at present. The analysis of agency data show that users of Android platform and Apple iPhone cell phone are more willing to use the Internet compared to other platforms.
Although the Apple iPhone and Android in the global smart cell phone market share is 15% and 10%, but the proportion of their network usage, is 40% and 26% respectively. Under comparison the Symbian platform smart cell phones accounts 44% of the global smart cell phone sales, but the network usage is just 24%. From May this year, the global mobile Internet flow rate, smart cell phones accounted for 46% ,traditional cell phones accounted for 42%, while other mobile Internet devices accounted for 12%.
