The machine is controlled using a graphical touchscreen featuring the Heidelbergc" user interface for simplified operation. Controls at the individual units help optimize the work process; they can be used to locally start, stop and inch the ST 350.
For enhanced production efficiency, the ST 350''s functions include automatic synchronization of the feeders and stitcher with the saddle chain. Stitching takes place while the gathered booklet is stationary and the indexing trimmer belts stop then index after trimming. This ensures maximum precision - even with difficult products.
