There was a row in the papers the other day about the use of some ones logo .. the logo is say, IBM and one is not
allowed to use it as its a registered company brand name.
But in the interests of education I suppose a lot of teachers do use it in
promotingresources in the classroom at school and university. The logo war is a fiercely
fought contest and I suppose if an American Company such as IBM spends millions or billions of dollars on promoting refining and selling their logo and their brand name is corrupted by anyone then it leads to an almighty war about the condition of doing it.
I try to encourage people to steer clear of this logo problem but nevertheless its important to allow people the freedom to speak the English Language and after all I B M are just three letters from the
alphabet in English borrowed from our language by that Company.
So fair is fair and a little use of these letters is permitted to all of us who are native speakers of the English language ... ABC .. continue please .. using the letters of the alphabet in English ... great stuff!
