LG KB 2050 is the cheapest GPRS
phone having an internet
modem (when I purchase it last year). LG Internet Kit with Airtel
Connection that is what I am using is very simple and easy to connect. I would
like to give a brief description how can you connect it.
The LG Internet Kit is software
used to connect a personal computer to the Internet using an LG GPRS Phone. The LG
Internet Kit connects using a serial
cable (data communications cable).
How do I connect to the Internet
using the LG Internet Kit ?
1. Adding a new Connection
1. Select NEW from the File menu.
2. Select Call Type. (If you
select GPRS Call,follow this procedure.)
3. Enter the desired Profile
Name.
4. Enter the APN.
5. Enter the Call Number of the
GPRS Service Provider.
6. Enter the User Name and
Password provided by the Internet Service Provider
7. To use the QoS value, click
the QoS Setting.
8. To change the AT Command
setting, click ADVANCED and select the desired TCP/IP settings or QOS minimum
or QOS request otherwise by Default the program is set to Finish.- If you
selected CSD(Data Call), you do not need to enter value for APN, QoS.
9. Click SAVE to save details. A
new icon with the connection name will appear on the start up screen.
2. Connecting
Three methods can be used to make
a connection once the successful addition or creation of a connection is
complete.
1. Select CONNECT from the File
menu.
2. Double click the connection
icon on the main screen then click CONNECT.
3. For procedure 1 (Adding a new
connection), click CONNECT after filling in the options.
