Throwing everything out is a custom of mine as I live in a small flat and cannot retain a lot of paper or tickets or whatever. So imagine my distress when I realized I had thrown out my
ticket to the authors event at Waterstones ... on Crime Writing .. something I am very
interested in .... I dashed back to the young man at Waterstones and he reassured me that I need not worry .. I have paid for my ticket ... I dont need a duplicate and all I have to do is "turn up" on the night and he will check me in.
I came back and tuned into You Tube with the marvellous Mustafa Sandal and his video
clip ... Melek Yuzlum and this time I watched "close up" - since my Turkish needs a lot of
support in terms of friends in that language and these days support is few and far between.
Melek Yuzlum is a film with a
song and a strong beat with it .. and the two characters played by Mustafa Sandal and a woman are constantly on the point of "the kiss" but they never reach the climax ..... Sandal backs off lies down on a pile of cushions on the bed waves his arm above his head points at the ceiling and his lady partner .. wears a
mask which covers her face ........then when she takes off the mask .. her whole top half of her body is covered in long dark hair .. they dance about the room and go to it with the cliche driver in the driving seat ........but they are the Tease of the Century .. no deal mate .. no kissing please in this Turkish video clip but nice song .. keep on viewing ..
