It is certainly a great compliment to receive a good review from Winchester and to say that they like my work is a great
honour. Going to Winchester was a huge contrast from my home in Northern Ireland which was mountaineous to say the least.
It was a very important
time in my life in 1968 and combined to make the
lovers of
poetry involve me in their Societies and Groups in terms of Poets: Poetry: and Poetry writing. Winchester has been a huge inspiration to me and all the time I have managed to keep in contact with this ancient Cathedral City ... great stuff!
