My
days in California certainly were my days in the sun and no one has ever disapproved of my
morning exercise workout on the beach in California or the swimming pool first thing in the morning is so
welcome that it beats despair to raise it now and forever hold your peace. So because of this loose connection with America and with California I happen every now and then to receive the California Literary
review from the USA and this one is about ...
"Fortunes of a River" new news to me .. though I remember the rivers in California were welcome watering holes at that point in time .. the Seventies .. however .. Fortunes of a
River by Barry Gough refers to closing days of 18th century .. Imperial Russia and Alaska .. Spain and Mexico .. Captain James Cook and North West America for Great Britain and then Columbia re Montana .. and so history goes on the American way your panormic image of it as well as mine ..........grateful thanks for California Literary Review .. keep on blogging. wow!
