Rich Quick schemes These days the buzz in the internet is to get rich quickly using the many ways available through Internet Advertising. Of these, the two obscure yet popular ways are PTC and PTS. PTC or Paid To
click offers users cash for clicking on specific places at specified
web pages. Each click is supposed to fetch the registered user $0.01. PTS, Paid to Surf on the other hand, requires one to look at specified advertisements, paying as before. Easy, right? No, not quite.This is perhaps the biggest scam of the 21st century. To register, you put in your
email address.... and its stolen. You never get to enter the promised site, and your inbox vacantly expects a welcome mail, which never arrives. Thus most sites dupe people and "sell" there email addresses, which in
turn end up as spamming destinations. Of course, there are exceptions, like The Adsense. Its a Google initiative that gets adverts in peoples web pages. But unless your page is very popular in the web, people wont turn up, and if they don''t, all your efforts stand wasted. So you will have to work hard, really hard. to promote your site, and pray, that your site gets noticed. This is a full time job, requiring both online and offline involvement.So people, what we land up with is the classic chicken and egg paradox. Unless you have a good
presence in the web, it wont bring in money, and to make a strong presence, you need money. Perhaps somebody can think of a way out. Till then, keep clicking for cash.
