Quite a list of players have left Europe 2008 Sport and the list is more interesting that one would realise as it crosses
over culture and class and over and into many different countries.
Why they have all left Football - different reasons - but it is seen as a tragedy as - some of them were pushed out or were injured and were not allowed to recover or the reasons are related with the age old question of Too Old . mind you I hasten to add .. too old for that .. for sport ... one would think that Sport should not hang in with such a devastating blow and that age would not be a factor -as Sport generally speaking crosses all borders and boundaries and that age would engage with Sport as its necessary for Sporting activity to maintain a relatively sound health programme .. avoid the heart attacks ... nervous breakdowns .. or whatever .... keep on walking!
Some of those who have left ... are still upfront in personal terms but the countries which have retired the footballers - are as widespead as Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and England .. keep on keeping on with Europe 2008 and sport for all .. in spite of age or /not being good enough/or whatever weak excuse is proffered through the system .. great work!
