Market research companies pay people to participate in online surveys, focus groups and product tests to verify if their
advertising campaigns are working or how customers feel about their products.
While you can earn money through
paid surveys, there are some
misconceptions. The average paid survey pays between $2 to $20. You cannot earn a full-time income from paid surveys, but you can supplement your income with very little effort through paid surveys. However, you would need to join as many paid survey sites as possible since there are very few that will send you regular paid surveys. Joining around 10-20 paid survey sites in the beginning is a good start.
There are 2 kinds of paid survey sites. The first is the paid survey database or listing. These sites only list paid survey companies and usually require a membership fee. The second is the actual paid survey company sites. It is recommended that you join only the free paid survey listings or free paid survey company sites. Legitimate paid surveys do not require upfront payment to join.
Some recommended paid surveys by the author are NFO My Survey, Global Test Market, Survey Savvy, Survey Spot, E-Poll, ECN Research, Lightspeed Research, American Consumer opinion, Test Spin, GoZing surveys, Greenfield Online, and Opinion Outpost.
