The
Huffington Post reports on the current trial of a neo fascist group called
Ergenekon who were on trial at the Court House
but due to the terrible floods in Istanbul the Trial was temporarily suspended.
They are accused of murder, terrorism and trying to overthrow the Government!
The Floods are now over and the City of Istanbul has cleaned up after this flooding in which 31 people lost their lives so presumably the Trial of this Neo Fascist Group will continue in Istanbul Court House in Turkey.

Huffington Post reports a wide range of stories and this particular story was blogged via Turkish Digest ..... I must admit the storyline is as scenic as Istanbul was in 2008 in October but then that was before the floods .... hard work! I had 4 days holiday in the Writers Room in a hotel in Sirkeci in Istanbul and only today I was asked to give a brief talk on the same subject ... I am now something of the celeb poet .... great work!
