Its easy to do to become a fan rather than an active participant in life and to go on thinking you are well known even famous
in spite of it all. But when the time comes you are simply living in reflected glory. Nobody knows anything at allabout you and part from one''s nearest and dearest no one gives a straw.Every day people come and go into this world and we all continue as normal.The Fans of England are famous all over the world or perhaps
infamous is a better word for violence and over excited behaviour! We wonder sometimes as educators and writers if we should endorse England''s winning or losing as sometimes the English fans are better behaved overseas when they lose to their opponents rather than when they win!In spite of all this we are the generation that started this
fanship craze and I am constantly reminded that it will continue as long as we do ... The Beatleswho were/are slightly older than me but ... my generation ... createdBeatlemania ... and fans crowded around the world to catch a glimpse of these rock super stars ... even today the Beatles still have a world wide fanship and people are prepared to travel hundreds of miles to see one of the former Beatles ... the fans and fanship still continue to astound the public ... and I suppose as the 21st century gets underway ... fanship might and hopefully we pray ... take a turn for the better.
