Veoh.com : One Super-Cool Video Watching and Downloading Site
So to all you YouTube viewers, how about thinking
of a substitute site which is a hell lot better?? Yeah thats right, thats what i mean actually. What does YouTube serve you? -A wide range of videos about almost every topic, opportunity of uploading your own stories even. But Veoh surely has a lot more features (including those of YouTube). Most importantly, it allows you to DOWNLOAD (besides watching).

You can find almost all Web Series (series published on web exclusively), music videos, all the popular TV shows up to date (The Simpsons, Heroes, Family Guy, South Park, Prison Break, and lot more), user videos categorized into a lot
of branches like sexy, comedy, movies and tv, travel, news, living, etc.
If you can look well enough, you can find a lot of movies, too. You can hope to find almost anything, both implicit and explicit (you might want to turn the family filter off) contents. Just watch anything you like.
Now about the downloading facts. You will be needed to download a small software called Veoh Player. Trust me this is a very good thing to do cause it will allow you to download from a large number of sites like Metacafe, YouTube, etc. This also serve as a download manager, and is a very good .flv file player, too. After getting this all-rounder, all you have to do is open a video page on Veoh.com. You either watch, or if you decide to download the video, click on the download link at the right side of the page. Downloading will start on the Veoh Player instantly.
Well this site is one of the most entertaining i have met on the web. To cite the advantages and disadvantages, I will compare it relative to YouTube.

Pros:
Huge collection of videos (though less than that of YouTube).
Excellent interface (better)
Tremendous quality of collections (lot better).
Excellent video quality (lot better).
TV shows and music videos available (not good enough at YouTube).
Allows downloads, and has its own download manager (YouTube doesnot allow downloads)
The download manager is an all in one software, and can download from YouTube even!!
The search engine is extremely efficient (same for YouTube).
Cons:
Your cable speed has to be quite high, so bad for people with dial-up connections (YouTube requires less speed)
Pages are slow to load (YouTube is quicker)
Apart from the fact that it requires high speed, Veoh is a tough-to-beat site. So if you are looking for videos, either to watch or to download, think nothing and just fly for Veoh. I repeat, nothing gets better than this.
