Fans are a worldwide commodity and it
started they say with Elvis in America ... but then thats not acceptable. Lets
begin again . it
started with Frank Sinatra and as a singer he was the first to kick off with fans adoring their idol!
I
know quite a lot about the Beatles and Beatlemania as I saw a lot of it up close. The Rolling Stones I know from personal experience ... and Bob Dylans concerts I actually attended as he had the air of the "intellectual" which appealed and I was at a concert 10 years ago in Belfast. But I suppose its odd that I should be regarded as a fan .. however I take the point. Incidentally it was a joint effort with Bob Dylan and Van Morrison - wow!
Its interesting to note that Turkey has Tarkan whose fans are huge and they have
Mustafa Sandal who, equally draws a massive audience both live and in recording and film.
As a writer I am inclined towards becoming a best seller .. but I still enjoy the odd bit of rock and roll .......great stuff!
