I tuned into Radio 3 on Sunday and the music was flowing and the words and music went together like a hand in a glove ..
I was pleased to hear Seamus Heaney talk about his work and the background was "Ireland". Ian McMillen another great BBC Favourite poet had put together .... wonderfully ... a band with words .. and they recited and sung out their hearts in a great night's entertainment.
I was so taken with the story telling that I got to it and wrote another poem for my US publishers .. and then decided to sit back and relax and just "enjoy" the whole evening and London's great celebration of poems/words and music.
Some English folk music was intertwined with poems by Ian McMillan and it moved me to the floor to do a bit of exercise and physical activity in "bare feet" .. I felt wonderfully alive and vibrant and really enjoyed the participation exercise produced naturally and magnificently by BBC Radio 3 .. great writing great music .. keep on blogging .. and working ..
