This site is for any
college student who loves music.
Ruckus. com is a music site that allows anybody with a .edu e-
mail address to download music for free and legally. The site can be a bit much with the ads, but that is what allows for the site to be keep running. A good thing about this site is that the downloads are from recording from the artist. It is downloading cds.
There are some restiction though. Not every artist that you ever want is on there, or is not on there as much as you would like. There is just about no beatles stuff unless you go under their solo names. Some songs are blocked from being
downloaded, so this may prevent complete albums from being downloaded.
The best part is that it is legal and free. From my personal use, there have been a few disapointments when I have been looking for particular songs. My sugestion would be to just to go and look around instead of trying to find the exact song. There is a sign up and it is only for
college web e- mails.
All in all, I would say that this is a great site that gets 10 out of 10 stars. The web site is also in need of more members to keep going, so spread the word!!
