I stumbled across this website many years ago and visit the site frequently. There are so many good recipes, tips and suggestions.
For instance, say you want to cook a meal WITHOUT oil. There is a link entitled "
substitution for cooking oil" or you can simply type substitution for whatever in the search space and instantly, you will have recipes. You can narrow your searches, of course, for a specific item (e.g., pasta, chicken, pie, cookies, etc.) They also have advertisements for samples of FREE products. There is a link for conversions,
cooking times, and a lot more. You can also submit your recipe. This morning, I made french toast casserole from this recipe: http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1918,154187-244199,00.html - or just search french toast casserole. This recipe is the one with the white Pepperidge Farm bread (I use whatever white bread is on sale!) I also make it the night before and refrigerate it over night so that it soaks up good, then cook it in the morning and your house smells like cinnamon bread! Take a look and feel free to let me know what you think about this site.
