This is a fantastic project –
seasonal organic vegetables delivered direct to your door! It seems to be spreading fast over the UK and has got to be the easiest way to
improve your fruit and vegetable intake! After all, once it’s been delivered to your door what can you do but eat it?!
There are
lots of options of packages to be delivered. The website also includes lots of great recipe ideas and also a good deal of information about the company, it’s conception, aims and processes. I was very excited when I discovered this – it’s just a fabulous way to support British farming in an ecologically friendly way, and improve your family’s health at the same time. It will also help me to learn more about seasonal produce – and there were names of vegetables on the deliver list that I had never even heard of!
Although there is an increase in organic choice in large chain supermarkets, purchasing them still feels very divorced from the land the products are grown in. I bet these veg arrive with the soil still on them!
